Thanksgiving means a lot of different things to many different people. To Makin’ It Marketing, Thanksgiving is about giving back and bringing people together to celebrate each other (often over a hot meal).

Bison 5k For a Meal:
The Bison 5k For a Meal at Nichols College will benefit Feeding America. Makin' It Marketing is proud to be a sponsor of this event.
Feeding America is a nonprofit organization that feeds more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and more!
All proceeds from the 5k, including the sponsorships, will be donated to Feeding America. Every $1 raised turns into 10 meals for those in need!
Special alert: Our very own Dylan DeRubeis will be running in this event! If you're attending in-person be sure to stop by our booth and say "hi"!
American Heart Association:
This organization is one that’s near and dear to our CEO Tara’s heart. Tara’s Grandfather is her biggest role model, best friend, and inspiration, and is also a Heart Disease survivor. You can read more about Tara’s decision to support the American Heart Association here.

Thanksgiving baskets for local families in need:
Would you like to help a family in need with the donation of a Turkey Basket? This year’s goal is to fill 250 baskets (or $15,000.00 in financial donations)
Each basket includes:
1 insulated bag
1 16-20 pound turkey
1 tin roasting pan
Gravy
3 cans of vegetables
Stuffing mix
Cranberry Sauce
Potato Buds
Cookie Mix

Turkey Drive Through Our Bright Future:
Our Bright Future and Webster Police Department Massachusetts are hosting their 5th Annual Turkey Drive!
Teamwork makes the dream work! Our Bright Future and Webster Police Department are teaming up to raise donations to provide 100 turkeys to families in need (50 for the community of Webster and 50 for the community of Southbridge).
The average price of a frozen Turkey is $25.00 - they are looking for a minimum crowd-sourced amount of $2,500.00 (and we know with your help we can knock this out of the park!)
